If you are in a dark room you can reduce the screen brightness to the minimum level which should reduce this effect (the blue light filter helps too). Otherwise, and if not using night mode, it is like shining a torch into your face!

Actually, I don't think we have seen measurements for a Purifi 1ET6525SA based amp yet. I'd be keen to see these, especially the power sweeps at different frequencies (as these are not on the datasheet). I'd like to see more AVRs etc being measured too.

Sorry if stating an obvious option that you have already discounted, but have you considered the Hypex Fusion plate amplifiers? https://www.hypex.nl/products/amplifier-families/fusion-amplifier-family/ Would only need mounting on a box (or on the speakers) to make a complete solution.

If you want a quick and easy way to try it, perhaps just plug a laptop into your tv and use a media player that supports visualisers. Nice images, I think this type of mood lighting could be relaxing and maybe less distracting than the more intense visualisers. Of course it's not going to be...
