We’d had heard it all before?17 pages with 80s songs versus 7 for the 90s. What does that tell us, I wonder?

This super thin sounding bass drum? From 1985, and if only for that bass-drum:
It’s surely not the lowest kick you’ve ever heard, but nice nevertheless (on my Revel B15). Warms my heart every time. This super thin sounding bass drum?
I like her 99.9 days even better, FWIW.Suzanne Vega - Luka
When Herbie Hancock's Rockit came out in 1983 it was an amazing new fresh sound. Scratching on Vinyl became a thing, and it seems like this song made sure everyone knew about this weird reversal sound making the turntable into a musical instrument. Very cool stuff.Yes!

If the song you posted isn't here it could be because the YouTube video was blocked and there wasn't a text of the song in your post, Spotify didn't have it, or there needed to be some "extra" searching in Spotify. "Mr. T - Treat Your Mother Right" I couldn't find.
I'll try to add future songs as they are posted.
Thanks to Multicore for kicking this off, this has been a good one for sure!
Enjoy.
I already did that.Somehow I forgot to add this quintessential anti-pop song from the truly hilarious comedy trio
Trio - Da Da Da
I guess it didn't make it into the Spotify version, that's what I used for search.I already did that.
