I believe so. But I don't have first-hand experience with it. It is something I want to explore too.

Yes, but generally if that's all you're doing the Behringer DCX2496 can be found cheaper. It looks like the bonus here is autoEQ, although how that compares I couldn't tell you.

autoEQ is definitely interesting although not clear if it can help for the active crossover application, plus the dbx seems to have better THD and noise specs.

Good catch. Just verified it myself, works (in the U.S. at least).

You might want to take a look at the t.racks DSP units sold by Thomann. From what I can find, they seem to be the best bang-for-the-buck among balanced DSP units in terms of THD/noise specs. One of these days I'm going to buy one...
