On the topic of coaxes and waveguides Peerless seems to have come up with a very curious solution:
Unfortunately they seem to have gone OEM only, so it's unlikely that there will be reviews by the DIY crowd.
They are not the same. For example the Debut series employs stamped driver baskets, while the Debut Reference series uses cast driver baskets.

Goes to show how nontrivial the construction of a 2-way coax system is. Nubert demonstrated the effect of cone excursion on tweeter response with a 5 inch Seas coax without any Waveguide:

Pretty expensive Wavecor drivers in this one. Probably something like WF118WA07/08 woofers and TW022WA02/04 tweeters. Would cost the DIYer nearly 300 bucks for the pair.
Hecos "poor man's DeVore OrangUtan96" got an upgrade: Heco Direkt Premium. MSRP is 3k€/pr, but Hecos tend to get sold with significant discounts very fast.
Keep in mind that their MSRP has risen significantly towards the end of their lifespan. 1298€ for a pair in walnut. When Stereoplay reviewed them in 2015, the MSRP was listed as 750€/pr (non walnut/highgloss), but this times are long gone. Their successor (Aria EVO X No 1) has a MSRP of 1.498€/pr.
