If the person wont EQ and do any software stuff, just use as a straight dac amp, it is totally ok.

Btw, DX5 II can easily do Susvara for 299. Power itself wont fix the limitations of a headphone, EQ will.

You could use XLR to RCA cables. The signal will be like RCA, with halve the output voltage of XLR.

EPZ P50 is sook goood, very detailed, just enough bass for fun but nothing that gets in the way of classical

DX5 II has 3 times more power, way more versatile for hungry headphones. The X9 clocked 2watts at 32ohm, not bad, but way less than my humble and much smaller A50iii Also the 50mv noise floor was around 83db. Good, but not the very best for sensitvity iems.

Im actually disappointded by the amp section. Considerably less power and more noisy than my humble A50iii.

We got a technical review of the X9 and it is clearly inferior spec wise to the DX5, especially the high noise floor for low sensitive iems and it is less powerful. It is more than good enough, but inferior and less versatile to the much cheaper option.

Here my stack, the screen border of the D-6s holds the A50 in place. I use short XLR to TRS cables.

I have the A50iii stacked on Smsl D-6s and I love that combo.

I mean, it acted as if it did alternating the sampling in some weird struggle with Windows, that would cause a relay like click and would mute the first second of a song.

Btw, my D-6s had too much relay switching from one track to another, but the firmware update fixed that. Im really glad, I can keep this boy for the rest of my life now lol
