Apple USB-C dongle alternative with microphone compatibility

JCALLY SP30 arrived today. It has low mic input level too. Even worse, it doesn't work with my iPhone 15 Pro unless a charger is plugged into it. Not sure if a JCALLY SP7 would be any different. AliExpress takes two weeks to ship and returns are a pain.

Umm, how would your mouse and keyboard stop working? Is the dongle hosing the USB bus?

If you play this sound through the Apple USB-C to 3.5mm adapter you will hear a static like crackle in addition to the rumble: https://www.audiocheck.net/Audio/audiocheck.net_polarity_lowrumbleOK.ogg Source: https://www.audiocheck.net/soundtests_headphones.php I thought I had a defective...
