About -20dB/decade from 10 to 1000Hz, then -30dB from 1k to 10kHz.

I'd wager it doesn't really roll off below 10Hz as shown.

Acoustic/infrasonic rocket engine signatures

https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2003SPIE.5090...30T/abstract

Infrasonics offers the potential of long-range acoustic detection of explosions, missiles and even sounds created by manufacturing plants. The atmosphere attenuates acoustic energy above 20 Hz quite rapidly, but signals below 10 Hz can propagate to long ranges. Space shuttle launches have been detected infrasonically from over 1000 km away and the Concorde airliner from over 400 km. This technology is based on microphones designed to respond to frequencies from 0.1 to 300 Hz that can be operated outdoors for extended periods of time with out degrading their performance.

I automated the whole process...

Pre-requisites:
1. Windows 10
2. Install SOX (latest is 14.4.2)

Setup:
1. Created spectrogram.bat in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\sox-14-4-2" directory.
2. Customized code...it's not clean (don't judge me!), but it worked.
FOR %%A IN (%*) DO sox %%A -n remix - rate 200 spectrogram -z 60 -o "%~dp1%subdirname%\%%~nA.png" -t "%%~nxA"
3. If you can tell, the script also added a 'title' above each photo, to make it easier to identify photos and to avoid any mistakes about similar looking spectrograms
4. Created a shortcut to the batch file in my “Send to” directory.
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo\

You can use it on (.FLAC/.WAV/.OGG) (Doesnt work on .MP3):
1. Right click on the file and choose “Send to” and then pick spectrogram.bat - shortcut.
2. This also works when selecting multiple files at once. To save you more time.
3. It will create a .PNG (spectrogram) with the same name as the original track file in the same directory as the track.

Enjoy! ;)

Try to localize
Guillou Mussorgsky Pictures at an exhibition DOR-90117
https://audiocranium.com/products/d...hibition-stravinsky-three-dances-jean-guillou

I could find an MP3 link here the second 2'29'' Gnomus excerpt here, it could go down to 16hz.

Sure thing...Here's the same playlist on youtube:

Trevor Daniel: Falling It's an impressive demo song on my system.

Bass I Love You Crap song, but if your room doesn't shake, your sub game is weak. There's a strong recurring 17Hz frequency that is extremely tactile. My entire house shakes on this one....rumbles the floor. I think there's another segment that has strong 7 or 8 Hz but I've never found anything 10Hz and under to have any noticeable effect in my room, even at reference level. The 15-20 Hz stuff is extremely tactile though.

For powerful, concussive mid bass that you can feel hitting you in the chest:
Khalid: Talk

I killed my last Yamaha AVR trying to play that song. No sub either. Just a pair of JBL Arena 130 bookshelf speakers, played full range. Volume was set to -10 dB. The receiver shut down within the first 30 seconds and I was not able to revive it.

That sucks...

Yeah, there should be a disclaimer with this thread... @pavuol

So the Hotel California kick drum appears to be mostly focused in the 40-60 Hz range. And such an unusual looking graph for Song for Olabi. The hottest region in Talk is a bit lower than I expected...I figured it would be up closer to 63 Hz.
