Well, I wanted to book my room early for the show so I could stay at the Renaissance Hotel where the show takes place. Instead of being offsite, like I was for the first time last year. Well those days of staying at the same hotel as the show are pretty much gone. Due to the increase of the size of the show, almost all rooms are booked up right off the bat. So I booked three nights at the Hyatt Regency which is under the AXPONA discount rate $129.00.
Since Chicago traffic can sometimes be a royal pain, I booked my first night for Thursday. Plus it's kinda interesting walking around the night before the show opens (for the public) some things are still being set up. Especially the large demo's set up in hallway's and such. I've done this two years in a row, just for kicks.
