My god man, do you want to go back to wall telephones, or even princess telephones? Have you rejected cell phones because they got toooo small?

 Absolutely rejected tiny phones. I say, bring back the Nokia P4000 and analog all the way!

As for wall phones, I much prefer an Ericofon, arguably the most beautifully designed, and iconic phone ever.

But those times when you want a unique phone, with your name on it and no useless features. Big buttons, a month long battery life, and looks a million dollars in glossy gold, there's no substitute for a John's Phone. :p

Amir tested the Saga, it looked okay against his AP, but of course being passive a lot depends on the actual gear it's connected to.
No. Amir only tested at max level. Nothing else is tested.

I have the dubious distinction of having lived for a while with one of the biggest and one of the smallest "wireless" phones of their times -

Current smartphones seem like a good compromise. ;)

The Ericofon was from the swedish co. Ericsson. It was very heavy and for women just for massages. Maybe John could talk for a long time with it! And yes the form was new and you could get it in many colours.

I doubt if anyone of you heard about the "local" mobile phone Bi-Bop

It was quite nice to watch an attractive women reaching for the on-the-wall princess phone after the both of you had been lounging around half- nekid on the couch at the beach house...

«Plusieurs millions» en l'an 2000.

Not gonna lie, I check this thread every day hoping for news.

I don’t have an update for you buddy, but your post did remind me of what I hope a D90 + Pre90 + Power90 Level 2 stack look like :D. Schiit Ragnarok slim with the 90 faceplate hiding heatsinks on the sides, would be sexy @JohnYang1997

Yep, but I thought I would also throw the full article in because I liked the headline. I can read German pretty well, French not so much.

It was a lousy attempt of a mobile phone limited to be in the range of 10m of an emitter.
Today it would like a Bluetooth phone :p

Like having to find a WiFi HotSpot, except much worse. On weekends, 50 to 70% of the time, I am completely out of cell phone tower range, only a SAT phone is useful. Which is why I want a good DAP, to plug into the stereo in my cabin and listen to music through my speakers.

Pre90 has an optional extender.
Pre90 itself has the same IO as A90 on the back. 1 XLR + 1 RCA for both inputs and outputs.
Extender has extra 4 pairs of XLR inputs and 1 rca input. No extra outputs.
It has cut down A90 NFCA circuitry but still much more powerful than majority of headphone amps. But it's a preamp.
Relay switching volume control for best distortion and great separation.
Has a screen. Has a remote. Has safe volume.
Low noise, Low distortion as usual.
Reduced single ended ground related issue possibilities.
Please add treble and bass frequencies control :D and its perfect!

Yes I would like to know as I'm tempted to buy a Hegel H95
Resist! :D I had Hegel H300 and the difference A90 + NC400 made was so overwhelming it's hard to imagine. If I understand correctly, Topping new power amps aim to achieve similar performance.
