Happened to me as well.I remembered years ago when i tried a version of windows media player it ofcourse did not tag the WAV files but used its own database on the side ...
It won't write tags in WAV except a few and this is at rip time only.
Bit funny as this format is co-invented by Microsoft and IBM and technically you can write almost anything in RIFF chunks.
So it looks like you have all the tags in place but it is indeed library only.
