Wiim pro plus has albeit somewhat limited EQ and their new ‘Ultra’ is in the horizon.

I don't follow the market that much, but it's not in the ~$1000 market anymoreMention one streamer with this level of quality and built-in DSP at $1999.

It is coming up to our one year anniversary with Eversolo, and so far so good, one failure which the manufacturer rectified promptly, the A-8 still isn’t certified ‘ Roon ready’ but I don’t believe that is Eversolo’s fault.
New firmware this month, I have the A-8 and the A-6 here, I even bought a ‘Gold’ special edition just to try ( comparison results are on my Blog).
They measure pretty well,

They are not going to sound any better than a Wiim pro plus ( compared wiim /Eversolo too see my blog) but they may have the features/use ability you require.
I use mine with Roon and they have been an absolute delight, and since my wife has one I get far fewer ‘why don’t the speakers work’ which is a good thing!

Eversolo for a reason best known only to themselves launched a ‘special edition’ version of the DMP A-6 with gold badge work, orange led and ‘upgraded ‘, femto clock and op-amps.
There were multiple video reviewers claiming improved performance with the gold version so I thought it would be interesting to. compare the two units , level matched and unsighted through two pairs of identical active loudspeakers.
