There may actually be a similar thread. Or at least a horrible room thread. I shall dig.obviously, should not be your room - just post pics of things you find on social media
... or anti-social media, for that matter
And there aren’t any wires, so really just a 100k euros art piece.Does it count ? (coming from the Focal website).
200k euros for a pair (Grande Utopia Em Evo), here technically it's a mono listening experience, so it's a 100k euros listening system.

The building itself has some nice sound panels (on the outside).Does it count ? (coming from the Focal website).

probably not very good for audio, but the choice of materials, colours and overall look, is aesthetically nicely matched. I wouldn't dare soldering on a nelson bench, but that's because I'm cheap...I saw one just yesterday on FB, I'll see if I can find it. I'm not sure how "horribly expensive" the equipment is in it, but the room is ALL reflective surfaces.
Edit: Found it. The only non-reflective surface is the rug, which looks like a rattan or something like that and not very absorbent in and of itself. BTW, this came from a site on how to design your own listening room. View attachment 126632
Agreed. I've liked the design of many rooms I've seen, but horrible for hi-fi reproduction.probably not very good for audio, but the choice of materials, colours and overall look, is aesthetically nicely matched. I wouldn't dare soldering on a nelson bench, but that's because I'm cheap...
You're a marked man. Don't visit Salisbury...
I see that Pioneer SX-x80 tryin' to hide on the right side of the photo! My room, three years ago [when I still had a room.] Not terrible sounding, but still had lumpy bass with three powered subs:

The Gerrard on top of the Pioneer has a flip-over ceramic cartridge, useful for transcribing 78s. The Pioneer connected to a pair of RBH mini-towers under the kitchen window, out doors. There's a Harman Kardon 330 on the left side, had the Strathclyde 305-M on top. I think, maybe it was the Sansui. This is the Strathclyde:I see that Pioneer SX-x80 tryin' to hide on the right side of the photo!
Ahem. on topic: I think that the converse would be amusing, too. Maybe a Samsung "boombox"(flashing LEDs and all) in a room at Versailles... something like that.
Yes.Should I know who this guy is?
