Without the weight of the monitor on it, the mount will pop up and hit you.so... I've probably mentioned/shared this before, but there's a group on Flikr with the delightfully charming name (and topic): Stick figures in peril.
It is a great conceit, but it hasn't been too active lately.
That said, there was an amusing example posted to that group earlier today.
