Oh. I thaught it was one of those new "compact" and experimental fusion reactors
You must have a big nose!
I would've thought that the MIT contingent would've lobbied hard to do all measurements in Smoots.
All US citizens (I can’t stand using “Americans”) use the metric system: the US currency was one of the first to adopt it (one dollar equal 100 cents) in 1786.

My car does -- it's not, technically, a US car though. For all I know, it was made in the US. I have no idea where it was made, in point of fact.Hey guys,
And what about cars ?
I mean true cars have manual shift, right ? US cars are cars but not true cars, no ?
The sticker in the drivers door pillar tells you where and when it was made and correct tire pressure tooMy car does -- it's not, technically, a US car though. For all I know, it was made in the US. I have no idea where it was made, in point of fact.
I do know that I bought it mostly because it was just about the only reasonably priced (but not stripped to the bones) AWD with a manual transmission left on the market (in 2018-19).
I actually don't like it very much, but I do like the fact it's got a gearshift and a clutch, and I can decide what gear I want it to be in (and it's several orders of magnitude less complicated than the outrageous automatics now being used in most I/C vehicles).
