Apple Music LosslessSwitcher app for Mac

I switched to my Apple Music app, where I have hundreds of CD's dowloaded as lossless ALAC 16/44.1. When I play a 16/44.1 song, the Audio/MIDI app does not change and continues to read 96.0.

Yes, I've quit Collibri and just tried the ALAC files and Audio/MIDI still reads 96.0, etc. Based on the comment above, it might be that it doesn't work on local files, but just Apple Music streaming.

OK- thank you! Seems like for local files, I have no option unless I manually change sample rate (too cumbersome). I suppose I'll just leave things as-is.

I just installed this on 14.4 (23E214) but it doesn't switch at all, am I missing something?

Didn't work for me either. Apparently, it works for Apple streaming, which I don't have/use.

I've been using in on a 2011 iMac running OCLP Ventura (with Fiio K11) and a M2 MacBook Air running Sonoma (with Fiio Q11) streaming on Apple Music, and it works fine for the most part. Sometimes if it doesn't change the sample rate initially, I'll skip back a few seconds of a track, and it'll pick up the sample rate on play again.
