Any interest in these ATCs, they really aren’t bad, not in the same league as Dutch&Dutch or Kiis but solid.

I finally had a chance to listen to the Kii. At Axpona. Not the knockout punch I was anticipating. Slight head moves shifted image and didn’t have depth.
Good clean sound yes but not enough too trade in my ATC SCM150 ASL’s or my JBL 4367’s. Both are awesome and can play louder and cleaner to me.
I have not heard the Dutch & Dutch 8C’s.
I hope the yew ATC speakers find a good home, they deserve one.

Well I certainly hope they sell, I find them rather disappointing to be honest, and I was totally underwhelmed by the 4367s , your 150’s will probably play louder than the Kiis, which is something I suppose, louder if not better.

What are the main points? Subjectively, I find that loudspeakers which are able to go load sound better at lower volumes also.

I read a great quote the other day, to paraphrase it said that ATCs sound fantastic soffit mounted in a fully treated studio.

Cool. That's one of the areas where it seems like the 8Cs outperform the Kiis. Got another small delay on mine btw, due to the Norwegian distributor being busy... but monday or tuesday they will arrive for sure.

If I was a billionaire, I'd buy both ATC and Michell and modernize these classic, but too stuck in their old ways, legendary companies.
Maybe the Christmas card budget has increased now they are selling some speakers again..

I dont think you would have to a billionaire, they can’t modernise if ATC made a speaker like the Kii THREE it would make more or less the rest of its range redundant overnight and piss off its core customers.

They realise they have let a huge asset slip through their fingers, I am expecting a begging phone call any moment.
