These speakers makes the Genelecs look....ordinary!!!

Do they sound, like, great? Because sure they cost tons of money.

Diana Krall sounds good and so does everything else. Better have a big room. Amp $33,000, speakers $139,000. Then the guy sold me on the DAC: $50,000. Yup.

Yes, they had special ambiance. Room setup was the worst ever so they overcame that, too.

Gryphon “Pure Class A” 225 WPC into 8 ohms. 450 lbs and $99,000. So a fair price per pound.

A credible candidate for best room. 27,000 cu ft so if that is what you have, check it out.

Great job by J&S in Washington DC to restore all this stuff. It was a labor of love.

More goodness. The speakers; streaming is a solved problem. $51,000, active speakers. Edit: One of the best rooms, also one of the simplest.

View attachment 201791Benchmark and Aretai speakers, $7,500, best soundstage so far.
I like the stands. My speakers are placed in front of a bookshelf and i have had one or two moments where i wanted them a bit more stable. Because my butt almost toppled them over and i don't even have a substantial butt.

Why do they place all their gear on the floor?

Damn, some poor bloke has to lift those up for transport.
225W@8R class A is serious. Did they tell you anything about idle power usage?

At least enough money was left for a rack. All the other rooms had their gear on the floor.

725, been helping here, heading out of town…I hit every room have 100+ pics
These i would like to listen to some day. :)
The ATCs are beyond doubt in my mind, but the rest so far ... they where more or less poser speakers.

I hope we can enjoy more pics in time, thanks so far my dude

Very nice. $90,000 speakers plus $106,000 for the amp, including the separate power supply on the bottom.

Keep ‘em coming! I’m like 75% to go tomorrow (I assume there are still tickets), so knowing LX521s are around and seeing pics of companies such as Aretau that I’ve never heard of but look like they have something interesting are great to plan a short day.

Who’s playing interesting music rather than boring audiophile standards?
