This should be easier than it is ... we need a new cable to connect a laptop to a pair of desktop monitors. Just a 1/8" TRS plug that splits to a couple of male RCAs.
Trouble is, most of the cables that fit this description split down at the RCA end. They're meant to connect to an amp or something that L/R female RCA connectors a couple of inches apart. Either that or they don't say how they're constructed. We need one that splits at the 1/8" end.
And we'd like ones that are solidly made, snake oil-free, etc..
I wrote to the good people at Blue Jean cables, and they didn't have one. They suggested using an adapter plus 2 RCA cables, but we'd prefer to avoid this.
Any thoughts? I know they're out there!
