Yes to all the above. I wonder if the TV's optical out is somehow inoperable...I tried running an optical cable from the TV to the D90SE and nothing. I may be my poor TV-must now buy the new OLED, right?
Hi, ce que j'aimerais avoir sur le DMP-a6 serait d'avoir une application native comme "Google podcast" ou "Podcast Addict". Peut-être pour une future mise à jour?
yes, works, I had put the CD Rom drive on the DMP (heat), I don't know, I tried today it works, so with any drive, go to Files and then CD-Rom icon, interesting sound as it's not a Hi-Fi CD drive.
So I have a few specific questions that hopefully some owners can answer. Originally I was going to consider the A8 to match my fairly high-end components, but in doing my deep-dive pre-buy research it appears it has some quirks that may not make it the best choice for my situation. I have a superb Audio Research multi-channel analog preamp that will blow the doors off of any preamp circuit in the Eversolo, so I will definitely be using that volume control--and it doesn't appear you can bypass the A8 volume like you can on the A6. Also in the A8 they changed the multi-channel HDMI output to an i2s stereo output which does me personally no good. So now my questions are mainly concerning the A6..Regular and Master version.
This is simply a quest to get the best sounding high resolution Qobuz signal as well as Internet radio...but playing my mainly DSD local catalog would be a nice bonus. I refuse to pay the ridiculous monthly Roon cost--especially since it was taken over by that very questionable company Samsung.
1). Up to this point its been argued til the cows come home...but if I connect the A6 directly to my Oppo 205 DAC via HDMI or asynchronous USB, would it make *any* difference between the standard and master versions? Would I hear $400 worth of difference with that kind of connection? Obviously I would if I connect it directly to my AR preamp, but I'm just wondering about the connection to my Oppo.
2). I actually have some DSD 512 tracks and it appears I could only send those through the ES synchronous USB output into the Oppo's USB input. The HDMI (as well as the coaxial and optical) from the Eversolo will only accept DSD64 (albeit multichannel). Is this still the case that HDMI output maxes out at 64?
3). Very curious if anyone has the A8 can you completely disable the volume control (bypass) like you can on the A6. It appears that is not available to do and setting the volume to 100 is not the same thing as bypassing the volume control. Am I correct in this assumption that is not available on the A8 likely because the fancy R2R volume is one of its new "features" ?

You may want to test that unsighted. I doubt there is an audible difference, and if there is, it might well be in favor of the Eversolo. The only value of preamps at this point is to insert DSP (if they have it) or handle disparate inputs. I'd sell the AR and invest the difference in something more useful.

Not a chance...not going anywhere as long as I stay in the vastly superior sounding analog world. Goes perfectly with my Conrad Johnson/McCormack amp (soon to be Cary Cinema 5) and Audience conditioner.
Use of the AR:
1). Is fed by my modified (to play image files) Oppo 205, which handles 90% of what a streamer can. Sounds way better than the Oppo directly to my amp--which I did test. That's why my use will be "some kind of output" of the Eversolo directly into my Oppo which will then feed into my AR.
2) It is fully 100% analog multi-channel true balanced-out and sounds fantastic. THE MP1 is probably the best multi-channel preamp ever made.

OK. I don't remotely believe any of the comments about sound*, yet I accept your preferences. But if this is about non-audible subjectivity, nobody can help you with your question but you.
*except, perhaps, that you may prefer some harmonic distortion or an uneven frequency response. But, apart from possibly Cary, those are pretty linear components.
The AMP-F2, developed by EverSolo in collaboration with the Starke Sound team, is a Class D amplifier based on the integration of the latter's innovative NS600 module. As a result, it offers a high energy reserve and a highly accurate sound.
Not a network. Seems to be isolated to Qubuz playing through the Eversolo. I just played entire Neil Young Harvest album through Apple Music at 24/192 with no drop outs. On Qubuz I the music randomly pauses. I don’t have Roon.
How is the user interface with playlists etc.? Does Qobuz Integrate with local tracks? Does this do replay gain? Asking for a friend (who runs Squeezebox).
Serrez bientôt la connexion.
Et une nouvelle fonction de file d'attente de lecture, oui, elle prend désormais en charge la file d'attente hybride (service de streaming, pistes locales)
Thanks mirror88 for update. Just a small question. Would it be possible to add a continuation feature after turning on Eversolo, where did it stop? For example when I listen the Qobuz and turn off eversolo and turn on again could be possible automatically continue to play last song please??
