Monolith - monoprice liquid platinum tube amplifier
$165.00 USD

OOS

It may be one of the better tube amps for a crazy good price, but it's a tube amp. I'll have to pass. I figure I should share it anyway.

Says 799 and out of stock. Are you sure it’s not a local clearance sale?

No, I saw the link a bit ago. Showed the sale price and also out of stock.
Might have been an Oops moment for Monoprice.

No one mentioned the drop's sale yet!

1. Sennheiser HD 6XX on sale for US$179 (down from US$220, or 18% off).
2. Sennheiser HD 58X on sale for US$129 (down from US$170, or 24% off).
3. Sennheiser PC38X on sale for US$129 (down from US$169, or 23% off). Amir's review.
4. Sennheiser HD 8XX on sale for US$999 (down from US$1100, or 9% off).
5. Sennheiser PC37X on sale for US$99 (down from US$120, or 17% off).

I see discussion about 6XX (not others) on Canadian forums about people buying them.
I posted the AKG K371 deal on the Canadian forum, and crickets...since everyone's buying the 6XX's.

Would love to see the review of 6XX and also the promised HD 560s!
Ordered the PC38X. Thanks!

Drop has the 789 THX Amp for $199 and the 789 One THX for $129 I've had both and kept the balanced 789 and put it with a Topping D10 balanced DAC with Worlds best interconnects and that's it, I'm done...endgame for me. The One version is excellent except you can't disable the power management sleep mode like the full size one with a switch on the back. Get one, you will not regret it. I have an SMSL SP200 as well they have for $140 but like both the THX 789 a lot better. The SP200 is good for production work and mixing, but for games and casual music listening, the THX 789 is more fun.

The deal I'm gonna post can be used as an audio product. I personally use them to store backup's of my CDs.

Verbatim BD-R 25GB 50 Pack. Was $47 now $38 USD (Note: Price was never $76, it's just a hook):
People still burn discs? ;) I have about 300 blank CDR, CDRW, DVR, and DVRW. I haven't burn a thing in years.

Just a little math. That's 1250GB for 38 bucks, so $30.40 a TB. You can buy a 14TB drive for 225 last I checked, or wait for a sale and get it cheaper. That's $16.07 a TB.

I have a 14tb server seagate drive but I still like to create backups. I'm pretty certain those discs will out live my hard drives.

So glad I just bought a 14TB WD Eastystore from Amazon to shuck and use in my NAS since it is currently on sale for a decent price. Instead of burnable CDs and DVDs. lol

And for those that don't know, WD Elements and WD Easystore (Best Buy exclusive brand, but same) external hard drives are a better deal for getting drives for a NAS than buying drives individually. They are typically good white-label WD drives. Google "shucking" and Elements or Easystore and the size of the drive to learn how. Often the comments on the product in the store will describe if they are a good candidate for shucking.

I've had more CDs, burnt and not original, die on me than anything else. They're delicate. I now have a NAS with double parity and a bit-checking file system.

Yeah, I got nine of them. None have failed in the raid, so I'll be returning one soon.

Like with amps and speakers, the brand of discs matter. I do something similar to NAS, I create double disc backups for each cluster of data. By doing it this way, I only have 625GB to use though (In terms of a 25GB 50pack). At least FLAC and WavPack DSD is a thing :)

Have a couple containers of unused JVC Taiyo Yuden over on the file cabinet.
Good thing I looked at one of the spindles. There are a whole stack of original CDs not in their jewel cases that had gone missing. Ha.
Thanks for bringing the subject up.

For Canada, KEF Q750, $900 off.

Polk TSi300, $298 pair, $500 off. Not sure if these are any good.

KEF Q150B, $398 pair, $400 off.

And this unit for $1499 in the US, when it costs about $3500 in Canada.
