Certainly not at that price.
What is missing is the enclosure, the controller (including the two screens, the rotary encoder and the trigger), the USB soundcard (Amir's prototype unit uses a $99 USBstreamer), and the 4 AES3 inputs.

I briefly ran it but since the output did not go to 2 volt, I chose not to publish it. From member it was as good as the DAC SINAD as the load for headphone amp dashboard is pretty high (600 ohm) so doesn't stress it much.

The DSP version with Pi out of box running Volumio/Minidsp (https://www.oktoresearch.com/dac8dsp.htm) supports airplay so you can use that for now. Hopefully that gets upgraded in Roon Endpoint.

It’s software to put on a Raspberry Pi that has a RAAT implementation. I have my Topping USB DAC plugged into it, works great as an end point.

So, this can do surround sound, but you would need to decode the Dolby/DTS audio and output it as USB? But that seems like a niche, so I don’t see the market for this product.

In honesty though, there is an unfair advantage here. Can you spot it? The output voltage is 3.3 volt, not the usual 4 volt we like to see.

If you still have the Gustard DAC, what is its SINAD at the same voltage?
