How did you implement the mandatory DSP curves on the M2 without using Harman amps?

If you have a separate external DSP, this is not impossible. Very simply, the inexpensive dcx2496 enables crossover,EQ, time alignment of M2.

See here. Our friendly @pos revealed it. This is the IIR filter setting method.
Here's how to set the FIR filter.

OMG I first realized it today. I live in South Korea. I ordered directly through the minidsp site and it arrived very quickly than any other product ordered in the US. I thought that was the power of Fedex, and now all the secrets were solved.

With designs and parts coming from around the world, I'm not sure if country of origin counts for anything any more.
The important part is who gets the corporate taxes. When you attempt to purchase domestic goods, your home economy benefits. ;)

Oh, I didn't realize the filter had been leaked.

Well, that is one part of the equation. When a company outsources product development offshore, all of the local salaries to produce that product, employee's payroll taxes and employee's salary expenditures in the local economies are also outsourced offshore which hurts the local home economy. As for the corporate taxes, that is paid by the customer.

Actually, who cares if dsp settings are a copy of the original when using pirate dsp and amplifiers. Most likely at least gain settings must be different and response can be tuned for your specific placement and sonic preference. You only have to understand how to do it, with help of acoustic measurements. M2 is a pretty simple 2-way with well matching good drivers in a box.

Speaking of country of origin, I like Magnepan's tag line in today's global market.

Thought so.
Very few British companies have remained British. Since Thatcher the lure of short term cash over the long term good has prevailed.
The most annoying, for me, was the sale of ARM to the Japanese immediately after Sterling crashed when Brexit was voted through. One of the best innovative companies in the World gone grrrrr!

For me the most important point is where the jobs are, some companies are taken over and all the changes is where the tax avoidance happens, others there is nothing left of the original company but the brand. Companies like KEF are somewhere in between, I think the design and engineering is still done in the UK, but manufacture is China, so little different from a lot of companies who haven't been taken over.

Which one is it? Most large corporations pay very little corporate tax in the country of the HQ (that is why they are there).

There may or may not be some truth in that, how much I don't know.
What I do know is if I have a choice it will be for a domestic corp, whatever the amount is.
Better that money stays at home than to go somewhere else. If you don't look out for your nations welfare, who will?
