Thought they were released inSennheiser HD600 I purchased in 1978
650 was released in 2003...Thought they were released in 2013...
Looks like you're correct. Amazon lists the HD600 initial release date as 2000.650 was released in 2003...
Still wrong date, more like amazon only start selling them by then. But I don't think it was released in 70s either.Looks like you're correct. Amazon lists the HD600 initial release date as 2000.

DT250-80 or DT250-250 ?The only mystery is that I play them a lot louder than the DT250, even if they're supposed to have a higher sensitivity.
-80, with my Xduoo X3II (found "Output impedance at 100 Ohms: 0.74 Ohms (1kHz), at 32 Ohms: 0.6 Ohms (1kHz)" on Head-Fi) under rockbox.DT250-80 or DT250-250 ?
Used amplifier has an output resistance > 30ohm ?
Looks impressive with the 940 pads (and I can't stand anything but textile pads). The DT250/80 ohm version has a sensitivity of 111 dB/V.
The Shure SRH-1540 is 112 dB/V so should not differ much (without EQ)
Found a cheap (but becomes a bit more expensive) closed headphone that sounds excellent (with modifications).
In stock form it is nothing really special though.
