Hello everyone,
I sent a request to hifi-express to make changes to the Sabaj A30a firmware:
"1. the amplifier boots to normal operation mode when it recovers from a power failure/outage, whether the amplifier state before the power failure/outage was power on or in standby mode. After a power failure, the amplifier should return to standby mode for safety reasons.
2. the apparent unmatched volume increment between the speaker lines and sw out line, where there increment is greater at the speaker lines than the sub out line as the volume increases. sure this will not bother a lot of folks who dont use a sub woofer but for us that do, i find it cumbersome to adjust the sub volume after i increase the master volume on the a30a
3. the sub cutoff of 70hz should be lowered. based on feedback from this thread, it appears that this can be fixed by a firmware update, so why not allow the scale go down further until it reaches zero or sub off
4.can I ask for adding an automatic turn on of amplifier after receiving a signal from the sound source and for automatic switching off, e.g. after 30 minutes when no signal from the sound source reaches the amplifier?"
at the moment the answer from Mandy looks promising:
"1, Our engineers don't think it's a problem
3, There is no way to change it, the DSP chip decides, and he misunderstood, this is a low-pass filter, it means that the signal that can pass is 0~70Hz, if it drops to 0, it means there is no bass output
2 and 4 Our engineers are working hard to fix it. I will notify you if have the result"
I'm still fighting for point #1
thumbs up for the changes...
