The "few simple keystrokes" was a phrase often used by management in a former life.


So put more simply - adding any feature takes time both in development and test. Wiim will have a whole prioritised list of all the stuff they need to do, and have limited resources to do them. Their requirements for prioritisation may be different from ours.

Maybe Wiim are/were focusing on their new products, they have just released one and are developing another.

Well, exactly. All of their models are miles ahead of the competition in their price brackets already, they could leave them as they are and nobody could rightly complain.

there is a big difference between this roadmap and its precautions taken, and the regular announcements on the forums of "the betas by the end of the month", every month, of the "social network marketing" services clearly very little to technically does...

How is your point useful for Wiim? They are not going to read it.
Wiim support were asked directly for an update regarding the progress on room correction and PEQ, and provided it.

(you don't understand what this is for indirectly wiim....? although in certain cases, as it seems to you, it is not really useful... )

you should just perhaps take advantage of the perspective of the "old hands" like brantome, me etc. and their little warnings and perspective, "kind"... ;-)
but rest assured, I can also salute the responsiveness of their support which is apparently not the prerogative of many other brands...

Is anyone using a Wiim (amp or otherwise) to watch live TV and broadcast to a separate amp/speaker system through a second Wiim? How's the audio delay/lip sync?

We have a house wired for in-ceiling speakers but until the Wiims came along no good way to use those speakers for TV watching. Probably just sports or a kids show or something.

The problem with any sort of network audio syncing. There is normally significant buffering - which then results in audio delay. I don't' have specific wiim experience, but I doubt it will be significantly different.
