The topping E30 has filters so it should sound different using the filters, also i think noise, gain could make a difference on the D10 Balance since gain is higher and noise lowerThey sound identical to me.

If you can hear a difference between the filters then your auditory discernment tops mine. They are both transparent so shouldn't sound different, if levels are matched. The topping E30 has filters so it should sound different using the filters, also i think noise, gain could make a difference on the D10 Balance since gain is higher and noise lower
I heard computer noise with my unbalanced D10s. Balanced DAC is much more resistant against ground loops.are there any hearable / non hearable?? benefits of balanced dac?
Thank you.. it's stereo input into my sub and from it's output to my active speakersyes, the same with active speakers you can mix and match what ever you have, but theres no sub out on a Topping D10 Balanced
If you read the datasheet of D10 balanced, there is a warning that adapters to single-ended are not supported. Is it possible to use a "normal" xlr to rca cable since my sub has only rca inputs?
It's stereo into the sub, should workIf you read the datasheet of D10 balanced, there is a warning that adapters to single-ended are not supported.
Like Atanasi said, you shouldn't go balanced to single ended. The D10B is not meant for that, performance will be severely degraded.rca to either trs/jack or xlr usually cost the same 15-20 euros or dollars for a pair, not that expensive even in a 3 meter version
Get a DAC with RCA outputs instead. Is it possible to use a "normal" xlr to rca cable since my sub has only rca inputs?
The topping E30 cost the same as the Toppingh D10 BalancedGet a DAC with RCA outputs instead.
Have them both and they're virtually indistinguishable sonically. The topping E30 cost the same as the Toppingh D10 Balanced
No, Topping says such a connection should not be used. It's stereo into the sub, should work
Yes they make it very clear not to use the Balanced 10 with adapters to single ended connections. No, Topping says such a connection should not be used.
Thank y'all.. though I guess would work if I connected them directly to my active speakers. In any case I'll get the d10s or e30Like Atanasi said, you shouldn't go balanced to single ended. The D10B is not meant for that, performance will be severely degraded.
